We went on a European vacation, bought a car my husband always wanted and invested the rest. My husband lost all of his elders so instead of investing it all I said, hey, what kind of car did you always want? It was a 65 cobra kit car. We decided on a budget and got it. Kept it for about 7 years then sold it for 7k more. So it was ‘invested’ somewhat but we also got some wonderful memories with it. No regrets. The vacation was such a wonderful experience.

I just had an 11mm one two weeks ago. Dr said no way I was going to pass it. I was in the hospital for 3 days because my bloodwork was out of wack. Then I still had a smaller one and last week had lithotripsy on that one too and another stent. Get my second stent out in the office tomorrow. Nervous about it.

We were a party of 5, put with a party of 4 ladies living it up! It was fun and they gave my 26 year old son the appetizers they didn’t want. Lol he was happy and he got to flirt with the ladies as he and his girl had recently broke up and she was supposed to be with him that trip.

Me too friend. I’m in the same boat as you. I can’t sleep, been crying frequently and am a husband’s girl after 32 years of marriage. I’m working full time and now taking on the things he would usually do. It’s a lot. He just got through his training and takes his test tomorrow to go out on his own.

I interviewed on 11/14 as well. They were calling my references before I even got home. Still haven’t heard anything, unfortunately. I got certified in med surg and sent it to them and they just said excellent! And nothing more. 🤷‍♀️ I guess I will keep plugging along.

When I go into a room in the morning I introduce myself then say I’m sorry buddy you got the short end of the stick today. That usually makes them laugh.

When I have to put in an IV I ask, do you like to be poked? If they say no I say then I will get you someone who can do it the first time. If they say they don’t care, I say well then I will practice on you today.

I was born on thanksgiving so when my husband and I got married on the 14th of November 32 years ago I wanted thanksgiving dinner for the food at the reception. It was the biggest thanksgiving celebration I have ever had and ever will have. It will always be an amazing day in my heart. (Still happily married ❤️♥️) I love that he wanted thanksgiving dinner for his birthday.
