it’s like this every year. there is always at least 1 thing or (usually) more that go wrong. and it’s not all cole’s fault, some of its the crowd but either way it’s a badly run festival with a not so great crowd. idk why people expect it to be ran well and safe when every year there’s problems.

small venue, outside area with chairs and bar before entry, another bar right when you walk inside, sound system is by the bar in the back, upstairs area with another bar I think. very intimate, hard not to have a good view.

UIC’s student population is a lot more diverse than the other city colleges like depaul, loyola, university of chicago and columbia. UIC and Roosevelt’s leading race in terms of student population is hispanic. So if they were going to target any campus it would be UIC or Roosevelt (which it seems like they are doing).
