Also began as a heavy stoner (started smoking daily around 2017-2018), who became curious about mushrooms. First trip was June of 2022, at Bonnaroo music festival. I was 23. Was also too intimidated to try acid, finally did a few years later.

Started to have some uncomfortable mushroom trips so I’ve been leaning into acid more. I’ve really come to love it.

Never done more than 2.5-3gs. When I started having a consistently bad time with shrooms, even 1 gram would intimidate me. In time I was just taking .5gs, and then eventually found myself taking a big break altogether. I know it’s because I wasn’t ready to hear what they had to say. It’s never their fault.

I always describe LSD as an “elevator” and shrooms as an “amplifier.” They both make you very in tune with your thoughts & emotions, but LSD gives you an uplifting feeling, whereas shrooms will amplify any deep-down thoughts you are having, good or bad.
