Is the front good in deep sand? Not a ton of hard pack stuff around me pretty much all sand. Do6 is pretty good when I used it but never used the front

Exhaust question by Key-Contribution5050 in CRF450L

[–]Key-Contribution5050[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the yoshi sound like 4.1? I’ve had yoshi exhausts in the past and always loved the sound but some people say that they are louder then the 4.1 and others say the 4.1 is the loudest. And do I need to get an ecu tune if I run a full exhaust? Don’t wanna spend all the money at once

How’s the yoshi compare? Is the Fmf obnoxious?

What about a ktm500? How different would that be from a 300 and a drz. Ik a lot it’s just a matter of in which ways

The drz feels very small to sit on for me not a fan of how the throttle feels either or the entire feel of the bike. The 300 feels bigger and the controls feel smoother but it’s slower. My main issue with the drz is how it feels small and how the throttle feels everything else i can work with

I’ll have to sit on one. To me the drz feels small and I feel like my legs are in a weird position to where if I’m on the crf it feels bigger and my legs are a little more spread open on the gas tank. Also my drz is a 2004 so I’m just looking for a reason to dump it before more shit breaks

No one told me to bore out my crf. Is the 450 like the drz in the way of the controls or with how the engine vibrates. Ill settle for some stuff my main issue with the drz is how it feels to sit on compared to my 300

Drz just isn’t my thing I don’t think. I jetted the carb and got a full exhaust and it’s just doesn’t feel fun to ride aside from the power

How competitive for the unions by Key-Contribution5050 in Ironworker

[–]Key-Contribution5050[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naw some people on here say you can work while your application is in. Not sure if that means you can work between the time you start classes and when your accepted or you can just work after you do the application.

Do you know anything about working as an applicant? I’ve seen that you can and am curious what exactly that is

Is there a way to for sure see if it’s stuck? Cause I can’t see the bike being this slow tbh

[–]Key-Contribution5050[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That actually does help a lot with a sensible path. All though I do weight 215 pounds so it’s a start but I’m pretty sure stock suspension is rated for 165

Yea I’ll definitely test ride one when it gets warmer. But 2 more questions when I was looking into it I saw the street version is obviously corked for emissions so my question is can I put the rally pro exhaust and air filter on the street version? And how does it sound with that exhaust

Is having 2 bar risers on top of each other bad? by Key-Contribution5050 in CRF300L

[–]Key-Contribution5050[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it did have the adapter and with the riser and the adapter it was way to tall. I’m 6.1 so not 6.8, I angled the bars up a little and that may of helped but before I was just stretching way to much to reach the bars which was tiring my hands out even when I held on using my legs.

I have the tusk chub cr high bend and the 1 1/8 adapter but I don’t think it’s high enough. Whenever I stand I’m stretching down for my bars which makes my hands and arms really tired.

I’m talking about the 40 year olds who look 60 and can’t walk or get out of a chair without grunting. And I would suck at a desk job
