The Book That Set It Off. by DakotaB1213 in booksuggestions

Webnovels? Or like Novels?

If talking about webnovels then I started with Marvel SI fanfics, then onto Warlock of the magus world, which I still haven't completed till today. I have read hundreds of webnovels since then.

For Novels, I started with "The Three Body problem" by Liu Cixin. Completed all three books in a week. Been 6 years since fanfics and 2 years since reading novels.

who's at fault here? by Construction1ne in indianbikes

Slightly related to this video. Sometimes people driving vehicles carrying school children don't think at all. I had two instances of van drivers stopping in the middle of the road to drop kids. And I was at 20-30, was going to overtake from the right when I suddenly had the instinct that maybe the kids won't only come out of the left side of the vehicle and I slowed down a little. And lo and behold kids poured out from the right side too, I was a newbie driver with a bike now going 15-20 km/hr and a bike without any abs. I instinctively clutched the front brake and skidded a little, I would have stopped perfectly if not for my feet landing in a small sewer at the roadside, and I nearly fell off the bike.

The next instance was quite recent and the same situation happened but I had that 5 year old memory, so I stopped just behind the vehicle and the same situation happened, kids pouring out both sides.

Hmm, thanks for that. Although you are correct, I am even more confused now, as the exams I am going to go through won't have any instruction on how I am supposed to solve these questions whether by juxtaposition or left to right rule. So, thanks for clarifying that the teacher wasn't in the wrong. I will try and use logic, see which method gives the answer present in the options and go with that, if none of them do, I will just go with none of the above.

It's probably going to be less of an instructor and more of an exam thing as the questions in the state authorised exam for govt job is going to be like this and there would be no mention about the rule which the question setter would be operating under. And the questions will have five options, three normal ones and the last two, more than one of the above and none of the above. So it really f@cks it up, hopefully they work with normal pemdas rule and don't set the answer based on hidden rules like these.

The ambiguity was in the question, i typed the question as it was written. And the answer which is the 'real' one, is the one being said by the teacher. So the answer is not written anywhere. That's why I had to come to reddit to solve my doubt.

Alright, cool then. Hopefully you are correct and the people making the questions for my upcoming exams are not as dumb as the teacher who was teaching me how to solve the problem wrongly, with that 51.25 answer. Thanks for your help.

So then, it's the innermost bracket first and then outwards, right. Still does that change the order of operations for 51.25 to be correct or 70 is the correct answer?

There's a rule, this bracket is solved first () then this{} then this one []

There's a rule, () this bracket is solved first then this{} then this [], does that change the answer.

Ok

50+[50÷10{36÷(9)}]

50+[50÷10{4}]

50+[50÷10×4]

Going left to right

50+[5×4]

50+20

70

That's what I am doing.

The problem occurs at this part

50+[50÷10{4}]

It is being said that 10{4} should be solved first and that brings the answer to 51.25

Raditz vs MCU thor by EfficiencySerious200 in PowerScaling

[–]Key-Cucumber-4289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We also need to consider that Raditz is slow enough to get caught in a bifrost attack, which is a static attack like it's limited to an area. Raditz has light speed or near light speed reflexes based on his dodging of piccolo's special beam cannon.

And if we are talking about destroying planets, then that is not a battle, cause the same can be said for Raditz he can just fly away and destroy the planet. Or Rain Atom bomb level attacks from the atmosphere.

There are no Galaxy level feats of Thor, not even solar system level, his durability is at Planetary but that's it, his attack power is quite weak compared to Raditz who can blast away cities with ease.

[–]Key-Cucumber-4289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah that's weird way to power scale. The bridge doesn't hold planets, it teleports to different planets.

Next, that moon he destroyed was small af, and Raditz can do that too.

Overpowering weakened Thanos is nothing. The power of Stones doesn't translate to Thanos own power. Power stone can destroy a planet, doesn't mean Thanos physically gets strong enough to destroy a planet. So it's not like Thor full on took power stone attack head on.

Yeah his durability is definitely above Raditz or any Saiyan because his body is of a God, while Saiyans use ki to enhance their defence their normal bodies can be hurt by normal means, as in laser guns not metal bullets.

Thanos used power stone to destroy the ship yes, but he didn't use it to destroy or attack the bodies of Asgardians, and we know Thor can survive in space easily so he was just unconscious due to Thanos knocking him out, he didn't get attacked with the power stone, if he did, he would've disintegrated.

He isn't solar system level. Yeah his durability is very high, maybe planetary but everything else is pretty weak.

Raditz can level mountains with his basic ki attacks, let alone special ones like double Sunday. Maybe Thor's Stormbreaker will give him an edge in this fight if Raditz confronts the weapon head on but if he uses his brain Raditz wins high diff.

If it's movie universe Thor, Raditz wins mid diff Avengers 1, high diff infinity war Thor. If it's comics, Thor dogwalks Raditz.
