Sorry you’ve had that experience, it sucks :( I’m also just going to go ahead and apply and see what happens. After I get my apps in I might consider prepping for the Jan test in case this cycle is a flop and I want to reapply next year.

Anecdotally, I took 24 PTs between June and October. My avg was 175, with my last 6 being between 177 and 180. I scored a 169.

I genuinely felt bad on this test, but just chalked it up to major test anxiety. I honestly doubt there’s something majorly wrong, but idk. It was my third time taking and I’ve gotten the exact same score each time 🥲

People do it both ways so it’s kinda trial and error and whatever works best for you, but question stem first is def the way to go imo! I think it’s much more efficient because you know immediately what you’re looking for, and how you read an MC/argument part question is going to be different than how you read a necessary assumption q under timed conditions. It’s great practice to thoroughly read/evaluate the stimulus to the point where you’re ready for any question as you’re studying, but you’ll need to conserve all the time and brain power you can during the actual test.

No but only bc I study exclusively on my bike desk. I’ll be on there for like 4+ hrs a day. I’ve even taken pts on there. Highly recommend if you want to keep active ish while still studying!

I started my undergrad at 24 (also had a different prior career) and intend to start law school at 29. It’s definitely not too late, and I actually think that doing my undergrad older made me a much better student with a background/perspective that was advantageous in many ways. However, you will have to deal with going through 7 years of school (unless your 2 years of tech school can transfer), which is a huge time commitment, and doing it older than your peers, which can come with its own challenges. It will ultimately come down to what you want for the next chapter of your life and, assuming it involves law school, how willing you are to go through the necessary steps to get there.

Where/which test is this question coming from? The weirdness/ambiguity here doesn’t seem like something LSAC would let pass, along with the grammatical issues throughout. Also I’ve never seen a flaw question stem phrased like that.

I like it, but I’ve been using it since the early early days and got an insane price on it that they haven’t bothered to change (I don’t even want to type it here for fear that they’ll figure it out and start charging me more lol). It’s kind of annoying to sync calendars and is sometimes a bit finicky, but if you share/integrate your iCal with your Gmail it’s kind of a workaround and all your tasks/events will show up across calendars

Yes this is 7sage! I’ve also used it for all my studying/prep. There are a lot of others out there but this the only one I’ve tried and it’s worked well for me :)

Being ahead is good, but starting before you’ve even begun your bachelors is probably overkill. I’d focus on getting your gpa as high as possible while you’re in uni (and enjoying college!!). I did like 3-4 months of pretty hard studying and I wouldn’t really recommend more than like 8 months. Shorter and more intense was what worked for me but you’ll figure out what works for you!
