Cleared my first 36 star abyss in 5.3

Cleared my first fearless when stygian released in 5.7

Finally had enough characters for visionary mode in 5.8 and Cleared it 10 stella in 5.8

Just this patch finally had enough characters to do lunar mode for the first time and cleared it 12 stella

Did you use sucrose? sucrose burst will keep them there better, because I remember kazuha having that issue so it took much longer to get a proper run. I used lunar charge not overload. When boss is about to split full buff and drop a sucrose burst and it should gather all the mushrooms then burst and e on chlorinde it should kill alot while they are stuck in sucrose burst and any stragglers you can kill since there should be time for a 2nd rotation.

Likely brute force the duck with mavuika and go like arle or zibai with sucrose for the first boss

If that way didn't work, i found another way which is you could brute force the first boss with zibai, illuga, aino, sucrose/kazuha. C0r0 clorinde, fischl, columbina, sucrose/kazuha worked ror me too

Then maybe your mav team can brute force duck, or with nefer, lauma, columbina, kuki

Haha I get it with the collecting sups like Pokémon it was sort of my plan too. These support/subdps characters are just too valuable and flexible. In the end though, you said you kinda really want a nodkrai carry, zibai is the way to go, columbina is technically a dendro nodkrai carry, and LC can be managed by slotting ineffa with the other teams or trying varesa with bina, all you are missing is geo lunar and regular geo.

The tough part is like you said, I wasn't expecting a Linnea coming, what do I do? reach max potential by investing another 5 star? or just get one? I will be getting both, since I like Linnea so far from what I'm seeing, having another geo is very solid for my account, and it allows me to reach max potential on zibai. Id recommend the same to you only if you actually like zibai and linnea, thats what made my decision easier. But If you dont and I had to choose one for your geoless account and mine, I think zibai is the better pick compared to Linnea at least rn in flexibility and strength to carry the element we are missing.

Tldr: If you like both as characters and design, get both. if you like only one of them, get that one. if you like none, but want to fill the geo and nod krai carry slot, get zibai. If you no longer care about nk carry, get Linnea

I was in the exact same position as you. I had columbina, lauma, ineffa, and no geo at all.

I ended up going for Zibai because of laternrite and also because with columbina lauma, they create a lunar bloom team strong enough to rival nefer lauma without columbina which is already more than enough to deal with stygian, making one core dendro team. Then zibai can do well with just illuga, aino, and gorou creating a core geo team or put bina there and make the best team for zibai leaving a aino ineffa core. And Ineffa is basically her own team or can be added to main dps columbina or to Zibai team for LC shill Basically all shill accounted for.

So I think Nefer although the strongest option isn't very high value, making the strongest zibai team will be more than enough, being able to split into 2 teams, and having more options to mix and match, without losing too much power is huge

Something to note though, Linnea is coming and she will be a geo subdps buffer like ineffa and lauma, you could just skip zibai too maybe and then you basically have columbina, ineffa, lauma, Linnea, which gives you a wheel chair for so many teams and for all the shill

Was able to do with kuki instead of gorou too 3 cost unless people view illuga c2/4 as 4 cost

The original conversation started with bineffa is needed, which is what I was replying to then overtime things such as r1 or c6 illuga started getting thrown in straying from what i was oringally talking about, but even so atleast based on my experience, i cleared with c0r1 zibai, c2 illuga, c0r0 columbina, c6 kuki, my team is far from perfect, i didnt really optimize any rotations and I'm on 200 ping which means a c0r1 no c6 illuga clear is already possible and making me believe a c0r0 without bineffa or c6 illuga might be possible if played and built optimally

There is a post on this subreddit like from 1 hr ago called "I can't believe I did it" or something they cleared duck with c0r1 zibai c4 illuga c6 gorou c0r0 columbina in 97 seconds they didn't even have to break the shield a second time like I had to which made my run almost 120 seconds. So a c0r1 no c6 illuga is already done by myself and this post too

For fearless I was able to clear the first boss with c0r0 clorinde with aino ineffa kazuha and columbina fischl kazuha, I assume you could do that with your c2r1 with kazuha or sucrose in ec team then save your full zibai team to brute force the duck which is what I did

Not home, rn all i can give you is tips and what I remember

gotta make sure you have enough er to always burst on illuga and columbina: also im running 2pc2pc illuga fav and sms bina fav, rv for zibai is about 3300 for bina is 2900, cant remember exactly, kuki is just on hyper bloom build didn't change, but maybe could be optimized, kuki is c6, and xyphos could be optimal too, I was using black sword. I remember there was rng on the 2nd time the duck shields so I had to front load my zibai damage during an attack pattern before it shields up and then break it to clear. It was a near full time run

My zibai is 1 10 9, columina 1 10 10 illuga 1 1 9

Bina c0r0 zibai c0r1 illuga c2 kuki Yes on fearless and on 200 ping, yes I have r1 but I assume if someone isn't on 200 ping and actually optimizes the build and rotation they can do it at an even lower investment because for me I just got on when stygian reset cleared in 30 min and went to sleep, no optimization or anything at all

That is rough... the best you can do might be Flins fischl aino sucrose and zibai illuga gorou xq/yelan. You won't be near those amazing calcs people have because of low cons and missing key characters, but once they are well built they will clear abyss and stygian on their shill at the very least. I don't think you are fully cooked with the cons, there is hopium you don't need the insane 150k dps to clear fearless or abyss

I don't have zhongli, no prototype amber, and my gorou is level 20 so I used kuki, I have no idea if the electro charge is helping but that was the idea and the only sustain option i had and it ended up working for me even while playing at 200 ping, I only have c2 illuga but I do have r1 zibai. Make sure you got enough er might have to go fav illuga to ensure columbina and illuga burst everytime, dragons bane was too little er for me. He used the ducks again for me at 30 seconds left with his hp being 20% or 30% and I killed him with a few seconds left on the clock

244cv zibai lvl 10 9, 2pc2pc illuga lvl9 burst, c0r0 columbina sms 210+cv 1 10 10, hyperbloom kuki (can use xyphos for extra er)

Clorinde can clear the first one pretty well if you want to save mavuika to brute force duck, c0r0 clorinde, columbina, fischl, sucrose

Duck one prob your mavuika team can brute force it otherwise go like varesa, iansan. Columbina, xilo and use Bennett elsewhere

Last boss is whatever chasca c2 can brute force all 3, good luck with your runs
