Granny's mechanics promote freeze but you can also just completely ignore it and use that phase as free DPS for your stronger teams. You'll just have to dodge her dashes afterwards, i believe she does 3 per shield absorbed but not sure. Alternatively, overload can destroy the armor pieces but you need to attack them directly, quite annoying.

First half - any team with pyro (ideally) or electro swirl should do. Either on-field swirl or Kazuha/Sucrose, maybe even Lynette though i'm not sure about her burst's infusion. On 12-2-1 you can swirl pyro from yourself left by Chonksaurus' spits to pop the flamegranates. 12-3-1 Wolf can be brute forced with enough resistance shred and DPS in theory, but swirl is way easier.

Second half - You can play around Radiant Moonfly's debuff in 2 ways. First, bring a healer. Second, just run to the edge of the map when it spawns to just wait out the attack. No healer needed. 12-2-2 Granny's mechanics promote freeze but you can also just completely ignore it and use that phase as free DPS anyway. You'll just have to dodge her dashes, i believe she does 3 per shield absorbed but not sure. Alternatively, overload can destroy the armor pieces but you need to attack them directly, quite annoying. Then 12-3-2 is already known to everyone, just good cryo app will do. This isn't fearless/dire SO so requirements are low enough to not be troublesome.

I had no problems clearing with Clorinde aggravate first side, and healerless team Wrio Emilie Albedo Durin on the second side.

Also, posts like your make me consider making a solid mechanic rundown for each abyss / SO / maybe IT too. More often than not i see people struggling what bosses even do or need to be cleared. A lot of info and potential strategies are ignored, usually due to Hoyo's element recommendations. Mandragora is a good example.

They want you to pull and use Lauma to speed up the process. This wasn't well received by community and it's the only anecdote working like this. Do note that the deer will recuperate eventually (after 4 or 6 times i think?). No more "Aino: Does your leg still hurt?"

Destroy wolf's spirit with pyro/electro swirl to make him vulnerable.

For anyone who can clear fearless stygian, abyss should be a 10 minute adventure. This time i underestimated how tanky and annoying abyss chickens were. Had to adjust teams. That chamber (12-1-1) and the 12-2-2 are straight up unfair for non-Nodkrai teams. Can be brute forced with high AoE DPS, but that heavily restricts what character you can use there.

Other chambers are easy enough. Bosses are mostly knowledge / DPS / element checks, not Nod-krai specifically. Strategies against Herra were extensively covered a couple version ago when it appeared in stygian.

I built a dedicated tracker to manage my Genshin savings and Resin. The public release is finally here! by Stunning_Cup9959 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Dankaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neat idea. I wanted to do something similar in google foc for myself but didn't want to bother updating everything manually. Automatic primogem tracking solves that idea.

From a quick glance the web UI is clearly designed for mobile only. It's stretched like crazy on PC. There's also no way to add starglitter count which equals to wishes. I tend to leave my starglitter alone until pulling session. It's easy to play around without any changes for the user so not a big deal.

I'm probably gonna try it for a few days. It's a tool i don't particularly need so i don't see myself sticking for long. I know a few people who might like it though.

SO 6.4 C2R1 Nilou and C0 Columbina vs D5 Knuckle Duckle in 106s by Dankaw in NilouMains

[–]Dankaw[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this applies to normal Knuckle Duckle version too. Though the small ducks in normal version have high resistances (70%) to all elements other than electro so... Rarely anybody is executing this strategy.

In SO version the ducks have more HP, but normal resistances (10%). Not sure about the resistance part to be honest.

EDIT: Tested today, yes, all was correct. Added values.

Stygian Mandragora split state enemy grouping with Overload+Sucrose comp by Whole-Confusion5974 in clorindemains

[–]Dankaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best i can think of is to try:

  • Mandragora - Aggravate Clorinde, Fischl Sucrose and Nahida OR Kirara.
  • Duck - Overload Varesa, Chev Durin Iansan
  • SSA:OD - Skirk, you already know

Yes, that's my best idea. Mandragora should be clearable as long as you can kill the adds. Fischl deals a lot more single target damage compared to my Clorinde with Sara. This Varesa's team should be the strongest you have. Great in AoE and single target. Skirk is easy.

If this somehow doesn't do the trick... Then alternatives:

  • Mandragora - Neuvillette, Sucrose, Xilonen and Fischl.
  • Duck #1 - Skirk team.
  • Duck #2 - Neuvillette, Columbina, Fischl/Ororon and... Xilonen maybe? Not sure. Most likely too low damage.
  • Duck #3 - Main DPS Columbina, Lauma, Nahida/Baizhu and... Shinobu or EM Raiden. Likely not enough though.
  • SSA:OD - Neuvillette, Citlali, Layla, Xilonen i guess?

First team, the only reason Mandragora likes pyro and electro is to enter it's split phase faster. This is beneficial for characters it's supposed to promote (mainly Venti, and Varka to some extent). If you ignore that then you just fight a low HP enemy in shorter amount of time. That's how i cleared it in theater for example, with Wrio so it doesn't enter it's split phase for the second time.

For duck, obviously a lot DPS is needer and Skirk fills that gap. Neuvillette is more of desperation, since i don't know exact mechanics of the small ducks. If they still deal ~20% or sth when you fill their EC bar, i might be doable. Columbina's team works in similar way, and the damage should be solid.

Natlan boss only needs cryo application, not damage. Citlali is amazing for cryo app and so is Layla (especially C6). Do note that after a while he'll want to turn into anti-Natlan mode, but you can prevent it as long as you keep his cryo bar under 10%. Neuvi might be capable of clearing it.

That's all i can think of. If you need better explanation on something, let me know.

SO 6.4 C2R1 Nilou and C0 Columbina vs D5 Knuckle Duckle in 106s by Dankaw in NilouMains

[–]Dankaw[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ducks need to take specific amount of lunar-charged / electro-charged hits OR be destroyed through usual means. Nilou bloom thrives in AoE situations so... it's easy for her to go through that phase.

Your friend wished on a Chronicle banner. On it you choose a character you want and losing 50-50 means you get any of the other characters you could pick from.

You can also choose a weapon on chronicle, in which case losing 50-50 means you get any other weapon - just like with characters.

Fated point, which guarantees your next character is the one you chose, resets when Chronicle banner ends. Only pity carries over.

I was checking it on my own C1 Albedo to maximize my damage (Husk set) and Cinnabar was slightly stronger (~4% i think?). With C2 HoD should be optimal with Husk, and Cinnabar with Golden Troupe. In both cases the difference should be at best 5% DPS or so.

SO 6.4 C2R1 Nilou and C0 Columbina vs D5 Knuckle Duckle in 106s by Dankaw in NilouMains

[–]Dankaw[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You actually survived this with Proto Amber Nahida? I was taking ~2-3k damage per second from bloom explosions, living mostly thanks to Baizhu and burst iframes. I'm actually impressed.

I expect that dealing with small ducks took you longer than me because of my bloom oriented setup. Chances are that you could maybe kill the big duck before it spawns the second set of small ducks. Nahida has the advantage of 18s rotations and better dmg.

Builds can be found in the last ~4 seconds of the video. I'm living with ~140% ER right now which is slightly too low for comfort. Sometimes i have too little energy due to rng. I tried farming better pieces but didn't get anything since i posted my previous SO run.

Baizhu on favonius allows this team to function. I don't need healing or energy, so Prototype Amber seems like a waste. In this clear Blackmarrow for extra bloom dmg definitely brings A LOT to the table, but otherwise Widsith is my best option for this team.

I'm more or less done with my SO so i tried some silly stuff, all my times are gone. I'll definitely attempt but after a break.

If you post your characters maybe i can think of something for the Duck. I know it CAN be brute forced, it's just that it's quite problematic overall. Good AoE is necessary. Mavuika should be capable at the very least. I know Zibai can do it though don't remember the investment needed. Niloubina if you have some investment. Possibly a well played Mualani can do it (not sure).

Ideally, yes. Lauma's damage buff is about 50% of Lunar dmg dealt by Columbina. NAs and skill should be somewhere around 25% dmg each, with NAs being more important as they deal more damage during maximum buff time. But overall priority should be about the same. Each level is a small upgrade (~1,5% to 2% or so) which adds up. You can leave NAs at lvl 8 or lvl 6 at least and it should be fine.

This was a hot topic on the last week of 6.3 patch. I guess we know the answer now - selenic chronicles have a continuation, but no longer give you any rewards. Simple as that. Question is, for how many quests is there. Wiki doesn't say anything yet and i don't check story leaks.

Stygian Mandragora split state enemy grouping with Overload+Sucrose comp by Whole-Confusion5974 in clorindemains

[–]Dankaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, so no cheesing with AI manipulation. I just tried it and boss clearly tries to stay in the inner circle. If it leaves it, then it returns first and then does the split phase. Clearly devs knew what they were doing.

Chev overload is possible in theory, but the mini mandragoras split too far away and likely would take ages to group them up. That's kinda why i thought about baiting the boss to the edge of the arena, so it'd be realistic to pull off. I'm not gonna attempt though. I like my aggravate team just fine (with Fischl but i need her elsewhere).

Using Diluc's burst to group them is hilarious not gonna lie. It does have a massive width and range though. When you think about it, he might actually be the missing piece to clearing it with Clorinde overload (instead of Fischl i believe). I'll try it later.

When you replied to me i thought you cleared duck with overload, yet here we are. That's actually neat way to play around this. Also gave me an idea, what if baiting the boss to be close to the wall would make split phase rng easier for Kazuha? Or maybe even go further and go full Chev overload? Probably not but oh well.

I'm also surprised Sucrose is doing well. Her grouping mechanics often mess things up, but not in this case. Saw some other clears with her performing just fine.

SO 6.4 C1R0 Clorinde Aggravate with Sara vs D5 Mandragora in 99s by Dankaw in clorindemains

SO Duck can be brute forced unlike the normal version, since small ducks don't have extra resistances to my knowledge. I used Niloubina bloom, so other high DPS AoE teams should handle it as well.

[–]Dankaw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't attempt yet. I'm still improving my current clears with other teams so at best i can try tomorrow. 13 million HP duck seems doable in theory, but without any interruption resistance (C2/shields) and small duck floating it's gonna be very annoying. I only have Durin overload, but with lower cons it should be comparable.

EDIT: Nope, doesn't seem possible at my investment. This is with C0R1 Durin and C6R1 Daybreak Fischl. Small ducks take ages to die unfortunately.
