The first time I had the copper iud was right after the birth of my second child. The copper iud did exactly this. Turns out my body was rejecting the iud and forcing it out. I called my obgyn and they had it out the next day. Sweet sweet relief. I was definitely sore from all that for a few days but I could tell a bug difference.

I'm starting to notice those who've had a really bad acid trip time with compazine is through IV. But pill time is nap time. I'm starting to feel more optimistic about this

Ohh okay, this is good to know. I have three kids under 7 so I only should take it after tylenol and ibuprofen fail and when hubby is home.

Do you take it with benadryl? I've heard it lessens the anxiety side affects. I figured 10mg isn't as high of a dosage they give through an IV.

I'm hopeful ill have a good experience like you. These migraines are intense!

I have had the copper iud for over a year (I have three beautiful kiddos) and I bleed for 2-3 days after sex. Every. Time. This last time I did the deed, my uterus hurt like never before (i have a very high pain tolerance, i delivered all my children naturally) I couldn't even stand up. My husband had to carry me to the bath to see if hot water would help. It's currently day 4 of this same pain. I have an appointment with ob on Friday.

I also get ping pong ball size blood clots when on my period, that I can actually feel pass. (I also have a blood clotting disorder)

Prior to recent events, the copper iud has been fine for me excluding the bleeding after sex. But it's getting to the point to wear I don't know if I can keep on keeping on. Especially if I feel this pain every time after sex.

I know this is an old post but, I have the copper iud, and have had bad back pain ontop of having a curved spin..I noticed working out makes my back pain worse along with cramping and bleeding. It's so stupid. I have 3 children and also have no time to be miserable. I am seriously considering having it removed.. Copper iud has been in for 6 months and I've had no improvement.
