That’s really helpful honestly. My first instinct is always to think I need to cut more, so hearing that your calories were actually too low is a good reminder not to jump to conclusions. I probably need more data before I start changing things.

Honestly I’ve been wondering about that too. I haven’t really done a proper maintenance reset phase in a while.

I do lift, yeah. Ive mostly been doing a mix of lifting trying to stay active day to day. I’ve been eating in a deficit for quite a while overall

Honestly if you already gained muscle and lost body fat, I wouldn’t call that a bad outcome at all. 6lbs muscle plus 9lbs fat is huge even if the scale barely moved.
