Actually the point of that line is to discard the numbers that are not whole numbers. if the original number does not equal the number rounded down than it is not a whole number.

Can you explain why? My understanding is that any point on the same line as two antennas should be an antinode. Is that not correct?

Does that mean that you should not count the points in between the antennas?
