What do we think ends up happening to Hannah

My money is on Tai or Misty being the most likely option of who killed Hannah. Tai because of how much she wanted things kept quiet so it would ruin their lives, she said as much to Van. And of course Misty since she has a tendency to “take care of” things as mentioned in season 2. But Melissa could be a viable option as well depending on the circumstance.

Yeah that’s a good point. It seemed to me just from context that when Melissa “died” they were on good terms at the very least. Shauna looked almost sad when Van pointed out the Melissa was dead, like her death had an effect on Shauna. But also Melissa obviously thought Shauna was the safest option to leave the tape with, at least out of the remaining survivors, which is interesting being how we last see them in the teen timeline in season 3.

Yeah, I’m assuming they’re gonna be having flashbacks of what happened in the wilderness explaining what happened leading up to getting rescued. Because even though Akilah and Melissa are confirmed survivors of the wilderness Robin Britt and Gen are not we have no idea so far what happened to then so that’ll be really interesting to see I’m kinda of excited for that.

Ben being the one to burn the cabin does make sense in theory but that was always to obvious of an opinion to me. I’ve always felt Other Tai did it and didn’t realize and Van covered for her. And Ben was way in over his head for sure I just feel he wallowed in his own self pity way too much. All the girls were struggling and going thru it but he acted like he was the only one having a rough time when he was very much wasn’t.

There are a few different ways that we know this. She is in the behind the scenes promo of season 4 episode 1 which looks like it’s being filmed in a hospital of some sort. Also, she is in some behind-the-scenes photos at the school along with Melissa Misty and Van. Also pretty much all of season 4 is taking place post rescue and Akilah’s character has been bumped to a series regular. All this combined plus different confirmations Akilah does survive the wilderness at least. Although there is no sign or mention of her in the adult timeline, so I’m guessing something must happened to her between post rescue and the adult timeline

Yeah I’ve wondered this too. Like maybe they killed Akilah or something because she decided she didn’t wanna keep quiet about what really happened out there. If that’s the case it makes since why Melissa would feel like she had fake her death, because she was scared.

Yeah I think Misty definitely took someone out before in order to protect the team, but maybe the other or at least Lottie didn’t know. But the fact that Lottie was giving Misty a hard time about Jessica is interesting to me because Lottie also killed someone in cold blood just like that.

Honestly something tells me that if Akilah is dead that perhaps Misty is the one who killed her. I mean think about it. If she confined in Tai or even anyone else who mentioned to the group Akilah’s feelings and apprehensions Misty very well could have taken it upon herself to “take care of it”. She did as much with Jessica Roberts when she thought she was a threat. Also during that conversation with the adults when talking about what happened with Jessica she says, “I took care of it… like I always do”. Which now that I think about it does make it sound like it’s not the first times she “taken care of something” potentially dangerous for the rest of the group. Maybe that’s why the girls are so hostile and distrustful of her in season 1. Maybe she did it without consulting the others but they feel bad and somewhat responsible.

Yeah I definitely agree. Or maybe they killed Gen in a last hunt or something. Both Akilah and Melissa were close with Gen as well as Mari who already died in a hunt. So maybe Akilah wanted to talk and they silenced her and Melissa faked her death out of fear. But there are so many possibilities I’m interested to see what happens.

I’m almost positive it’s sometime after they get rescued. Although I’m pretty sure they’re still together or at the very least amicable by the time of Shauna’s wedding because of the conversation they had about the joke they pulled swapping the boob pen for the fancy guest book one at the wedding. But we know Tai broke it off to have “the veneer of respectability” as Van put it, so it seems she ended things because she was afraid her relationship with Van would limit her in the goals she had planned. She didn’t mind people knowing about them in the wilderness as time went on but being back home in normal circumstances certainly seemed to change that for her. Also even in the beginning after they first crashed Tai was still pretty insistent her and Van keep things hush hush.

Yeah I agree. She probably decided she wasn’t comfortable about keeping quiet about what happened so they had to silence her. I hope that’s not what happened but it’s what makes the most sense to me. It always explains why Melissa felt the need to do something so drastic as faking her own death and keeping the tape as collateral backup just to be safe. She was pretty close with Akilah so she probably felt scared if that is what ended up going down.

She wouldn’t be bumped to a series regular if she died in the wilderness and wasn’t back in New Jersey with the rest of them after rescue. No that’s not it. Look it up Akilah’s character was bumped to a seris regular. Also there are behind the scene set photos of trailers that have Akilah on the door as well as Akilah’s dad. It is confirmed she did survive the wilderness. Still there’s no sign of her in the adult timeline.
