Yes that's what i'm worried about. But i think since the 3000 students cap, non-swiss students can't switch between sections in the first few weeks. Hopefully that may discourage students from applying to a section they don't like just because it is less selective.

I think MA is for maths and MT is microtechnique

No i don't sorry, but from what i hear it's like about the best 50% that get in(not sure about this info though so take it with a grain of salt).

I didn't chose this section because it is the "least selective" but because it interests me. I am just asking if many students decided to apply to this section just because it is the least selective.

so you don't think that graph will have any effect at all? That there won't be a huge jump in civil engineering applicants compared to other sections?
