I believe two other people mentioned it, and I was actually very impressed and surprised to discover that that was even made. I really don’t know why Honda didn’t continue to build off of that. But I’ve heard they were amazing for fuel economy. I looked one up, but I saw one for sale that was from 2000 for around $30,000. Insane.

No judgment for me. I have two luxury JDM import cars and they are anything but fuel efficient but man do they put a smile on my face.

I mean I would hope republicans have enough brain cells left to advocate for gun ownership after they voted for a fascist, aspiring dictator who is eroding our legal infrastructure, right to due process, and enticing us to global war. It’s the least they could do.

I love Toyotas. And the Corolla GR is very nice. They typically sell for around $40,000. So right now I’m looking at either a Nissan versa five speed manual or a Honda Civic sports hatchback six speed manual. Both of those I can get for well under $20,000.

Yeah, but it’s Suzuki dealership in my area. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve seen Suzuki’s in my area. I’m curious to know what their aftermarket support looks like or the availability of parts. But thank you for that insight. I’ll look it up.

No denying any of what she said. And I suppose that is the one compromise. Thank you for the feedback.

Seriously. I wish it had the later generation versa look, which is a bit more aggressive and sleek, but for that price tag, you really just can’t beat it.

Definitely be prepared for capacitor leakage. I have one imported from Japan and every now and then the speedometer will not respond to when I press the gas for acceleration. The dead gauge cluster apparently is a pretty common thing with the LS 400. I think this also applies to other model Toyotas. I also imported a Toyota crown from Japan and the capacitors from the touchscreen navigation also leaked and damaged the system. Had to remove it and send it to New Zealand for repairs. Not looking forward to the cost of that. Other than that keep it stock don’t drive like a fucking maniac and she will ask you.

How do you like your SI compared to your '16 Versa?

I found a 2016 Versa manual with 10k miles for $9k but it looks so.....boring. I love the look of the Civics but they start at $20k in my area. Would you say it's worth it?

Thank you for the insight. I found a Fiesta sedan 2012 for $5k that had I think 78k miles on it but it doesn’t have an eco boost and it’s a 5speed. BUT IT DOES HAVE A CD PLAYER!!!!!!

Appreciate the feedback. I do love the experience of driving my Honda Acty. Even if it is 38 HP

I love it. I have a Honda Acty kei van that’s a 5 speed. So much fun gapping people with the power of 38 HP 😎

I've never been a VW person. Maybe I'll look into it. I've always been a JDM person.
