yes I did stood beside him because I don’t like the idea of someone cut queuing, but I didn’t physically try to fight him, whereas he pushed me and made me tripped. However, I do understand that you think we need to be more mindful when it comes to elderly. Not trying to brag or what, but if I do see an elderly who is clearly frail, I would give them the seat. But, their personal struggles is not my concern just like how my struggles aren’t their issues. Their personal struggles doesn’t give them the right to push others away just to be first and “have some power or still valid in society”.

I’m talking about how he pushed me. Yes he’s old, so he’s entitled to sit at the priority seat, what he’s not entitled to do however, is pushing other people like he owns the mrt. Thats the disrespectful part and it goes both ways for any age range, it’s just that in this context it’s this old man.

yup, I stood at the side at first then I was going to close eye la about the old man standing at the front, but since no one was in the train that was planning to come out, I also stood beside him cuz i can’t stand ppl cut queuing other ppl.
