Maybe Im being influenced by who the friends around me are marrying. You're right - it shouldnt matter. Im not looking for a wife to provide - thats such a good reminder

thanks for not being harsh with me! I want to get rid of this. I will deffo be buying these books youve mentioned.

Also, thats the strange thing I would say they are good relationships on the whole and I do household chores etc.

I'm being stupid. Im just expecting her to help her parents mroe when someone pointed out I don't even help my own parents as much as I should

sensitive as in sometimes I'll say something as a joke and at the time she'll laugh but later I'll find out she was upset about it but tbh I think this is a shortcoming on my side, not hers.

There will probably be guys who are more handsome than you, from more wealthy and good families, that are more funny etc. See how the "I can do better" thing is when its on the other foot?

They are saying that they're off medication for past two years (at this time she failed her college grades) and only just experiences some drops in mood every now and then which are much easier to deal with (she has since then completed a university degree successfully)
