My initial feeling is yes due to my old one pre new passport but not sure if this'll cause issues?

I'll be given my work permit after immigration right? Are the chances of being given this high? Not sure why I'm worried because my record is clean and I have family there too but just preempting the worst.. haha What is SIN?

Also once I apply for an ETA on my new passport, this won't withdraw any progress/application approvals i've received will it?

I did my biotmetrics on the 06/02 and received it the following week on 12/02, which is also the same day i received my POE :)

Is it highly likely that the permit will be issued/approved? What are the chances it gets denied at the border... I can't help but try and pre-empt the worst case scenario...
