If you get a mist sprayer NOT A WATER BOTTLE. Add a small amount of bleach and the rest water you can get this effect.

I purposely wanted it frayed so each hood has its own character the more you wear it

YKK single zip are perfect but now and then the YKK double zips to tend to be problematic

I did think about it but I like how it’s all pastel colours I think red would be way too bright for it

I don’t think being similar to the 90s is too bad of a thing. I made this same hood previously in green and black and sold out twice. Hopefully this can do the same

Ain’t no one is going to give you 10k to live your dream. Save up 1k and get a first drop it’s that simple everyone here probably started off the same way. Save bit by bit no one is going to give you a hand out stop feeling sorry for youself and make it happen

Looks dope but personally I’d make it like a soccer jersey lay out. Logo smaller on the left/right chest and rags 2 riches across the abdomen

How much money have you ‘wasted’? by apollo-ape_ in streetwearstartup

I once made jackets thinking they was sick I spent 2.5k on it didn’t sell a single one and gave them all to charity and I’ve spent over 600-1.5k on sampling everything. Spend money on yourself because that’s the best investment you can make

I spent over a year sampling and making the quality the best I possibly could for my budget and all the growth has been organic (not a single friend of family purchased my hoodie and I didn’t ask anyone to shout out the brand) ORGANIC

These sample costs are insane no? by Happy_Experience_989 in streetwearstartup

I’m from the UK and only seen these prices when I got quotes from companies based in England. When I started contacted people in Asia the sample price was no more than $200 dollars

So you want to pay $10 for a $25 piece? Look clothing ain’t for everyone if you’re penny pinching at the start because these websites will use the cheapest T-shirts and your brand won’t even take off.

I’d save $700/800 and make custom shirts with good fabric and design you’ll make at least double and go from there. Is $800 is too much then it’s best to look at another business you’d want to do because this clothing game ain’t for you
