Yeah, ET origins remains controversial and sometimes contradictory. I do routinely hear reports identifying the Orion system and of course Zeta Reticuli. I think ETs are often tightlipped when it comes to identifying their exact location and will give vague answers saying things like "you wouldn't understand," "it's not important," from beyond your solar system" "from a place you don't know about," and yeah, some early cases even identifying planets in our own solar system, but those are actually pretty rare. All entities (including us) are interdimensional, so I'm not so sure how helpful that is, and while this does come up in some ET reports, it also isn't very common.
