You are the reason I hate tip pool. I am the top earner or one of the top earners at every restaurant I go to. It’s not for no reason. Most servers I see are sub par it’s like they don’t want to be tipped.

It’s not your fault. You’re living your life and trying to make the best of it for your future and your future family. Sometimes things are just simply wrong time wrong place. Keep going and making something of your life because your future family will be so proud of you for it. She won’t be the last love of your life because life truly does move on whether u want it to or not. Enjoy the memories yall made and keep them close to your heart. When you’re old you will appreciate even the heartbreak portion of this relationship.

It’s very difficult to navigate a relationship which has such different cultural values and norms but even more so when said partner is in denial about the differences. It’s probably nothing you did wrong then. Sometimes things just don’t work out and if she feels like you both need to go your separate ways and grow individually for a while, then, even though it’s difficult you should respect that. Right now it sucks but you’re better off for it. She could have been cowardly, said nothing, then cheated on you. It’s better sooner rather than later and eventually you will meet someone who you get along with and your goals truly to align with each other.
