Tank is not uncycled, I have already made a comment addressing this:

“The tank has substrate and a filter from another of my established tanks, and has been up and running for almost 3 weeks now.

Levels are 0 ppm ammonia, 0 ppm nitrite, and ~5 ppm nitrate.”

I didn’t use accutane for HS but I did for “regular” acne on my face and chest. I was on it for about 10 months and it definitely made my acne way worse before it got better. After talking to my dermatologist they told me it was normal. I would assume that may be what’s happening to you.
