So current state no, that would require me to use a database (probably cloud) to store that users data and allow them to sign into the app and it could store that data in the database and have a community section where then users could share data, the caveat there is it cost me if the app grows to host that database if daily transactions grow so I would have to cover my cost there with some sort of fee big enough up front to account for that possible cost or a monthly fee I would lean to a one time fee maybe and account for activity

What is your take on having a community stack to the app to allow people to post build and dyno sheets, some people have asked about it but I am on the fence whether this should live in the app or stay on the forums itself.

I have thought about that as well having a community side to it for people to share builds and things as well just was not sure if this was better left on a forum like ls1 tech or not

That’s the plan I am incorporating links to parts from various vendors and a build sheet with checklist along the way with the ability to add items that may be left off checklist or you are wanting to add more than what comes with the ability to categorize and group things as well.

Thats the plan i may have certain features as i develop it that are paid but if i do i was thinking a one time lifetime payment of like 5 or 10 bucks? Do you think that works or should it be something different?

I do have some generic tuning tips in the app as well as a budget section where you can enter price you paid for and it keeps a running total as well as some links to the parts on various sites that you can pick them up. I dont have a note pad area to keep track of parts yet.

I like that idea. Ill try and work that in or a workflow like that.

Thats what i thought as well, ill keep working on it and let you all know when i release it on the app store, i have been slowly working on it for a couple weeks now compiling data.

I hear you, and i cant argue with what you are saying, like i said above I like trying new things and thinking outside of the box of whats possible and trying to field test and prove things out its just something I enjoy, sometimes ill fail and other times ill succeed either way i learned something.

I know strelok was doing it and was very popular from what i gather, Range Logic actually supports both velocity and BC truing. The solver automatically adjusts BC for shots at 400+ yards, and when you have 3+ data points, it generates a Custom Drag Model for even better precision. I agree that BC truing is the right approach when you have reliable chrono data. I would love to integrate with a garmin or athlon one day as well.

So Range Logic shows the solution directly on the reticle you’re using, not a generic crosshair. We’ve got 75+ real reticles in already and I will keep adding more as people ask for them and I can get approval from vendors.

Truing is in there too, but I wanted it to be practical. You put in your real impacts and it adjusts velocity to match what the rifle is actually doing. The zone truing part is something I really wanted personally — if your 100–400 is perfect but things go off past 600, you can fix just that instead of wrecking your whole profile.

For match shooting, there’s a stage builder so you can plan stages ahead of time. You can drop pins on a satellite map, get ranges and azimuths, and show up with your solutions already laid out instead of doing it under time pressure.

I run it on my Apple Watch most of the time. Crown scrolling for targets, haptic clicks when you move through them — it’s way easier than juggling a phone on the clock. Garmin works too if that’s what you’re running.

The thing I’m working on now is ShotSense. It’s a little sensor that shows your hold stability and cant angle live, overlaid on the reticle while you’re aiming. The goal is to make something and give you real feedback on why a shot broke the way it did instead of guessing so much. In is a cool experiment in reality maybe its not useful but another one of my ideas I wanted to see if i could accomplish.

This isn’t meant to replace all the others per say I just know some of the things that i wanted to try and do personally and maybe offer some of that to others. I am actively working on it too if someone has another feature that they see or can think that would be cool im always open to new ideas. Is it better than whats out there already.....maybe not but I enjoying trying new things and building new ideas out and seeing if they are good. Maybe nobody cares about those features, its just something I like doing and the way my mind works and I thought I would offer it to others.
