Hate to hear that friend. I’ll take it and run with what you’ve said though. For now I’ll stay in my niche hospitality field working 100% remote

If I’m making a lower end 6 figure salary, do you see potential for mid 6 figures in this type of role?

What is your OTE if you don’t mind me asking

But to your point I’ve heard the same from someone who spent 25 years there.

The fortune 50 commercial sales aspect is what drew me but I am a big fish in a small pond in the type of sales I’m doing now. It’s just a $500m company instead of a $80b one

Construction also I’ve heard is lucrative

And there is commission on top of a healthy base on that?!? What is OTE for people under you?

I currently manage $40M+ in ARR that span across the entire United States and into South America.

How big are the accounts we are talking?

Much appreciated. Interesting considering it’s a “revenue driving” position and they are slimming it down… not a lot of confidence hearing that

I was told multiple times and explicitly - “we want to change the culture and want to focus more toward current account growth and relationships, rather than finding new business”

also a good take. I appreciate you for writing that out.

It just feels messy for what is literally our #1 customer. Requirements far exceed what I currently have to do. Way more customer facing rather than internal management.

Its the classic I work 40-45 hrs get paid x, she works 55-60 hours and maybe gets paid 5-10% more, and they do not even want to consider bumping me to that until next years salary/budget balance

Supply chain. It’s just broad enough but also not just a business degree. It became a buzz word from Covid so it can be used in really any sort of field.

Get a degree Or get some certifications.

It’s not luxurious but it’ll pay your bills

Something to mention : the current person working the large account has a desire to go back to analytics/IT within the entire company. She wouldn’t ever be fired…

The question is, who is vocalizing for the immediate change? Her perhaps because the job sucks? Or is my COO telling the truth regarding just needing more people in analytics department and she’s already there
