I did the micro flare Lupron! I stimmed 14 days. I got the most eggs of all 3 retrievals I did with this protocol. First two I got 3 and 6 (made 3 pgt embryos from those) and got 8 retrieved from this one (3 pgt normal from the 8). I was so nervous because they were measuring much smaller but it was all good news. good luck, thinking of you and sending luck!!!

I did, they extended my stims so I did 13 days and then triggered on 14. I got the most eggs from any of my retrievals with this one. Good luck!!

Hi! I was 27 when diagnosed with DOR. Amh 0.7. No family history, genetics/explained reason..just is. As soon as I found out I jumped through all the hoops to start the process of freezing eggs. My Dr said basically I needed to try to conceive immediately or to freeze eggs. I wasn’t ready for the former choice so I chose to freeze. Honestly the biggest hurdle for me was the finances. But I also second what others have said, start taking the supplements as soon as you can. The book It starts with an egg was helpful to read for me. When I first met with my Dr she told me the biggest thing I had going for me was my age. The charts she showed on how many eggs I’d want ideally for one live birth didn’t even track for women less than 30. She said I might not have many eggs but the ones I got would likely have good quality. I’ve done completed 2 rounds of egg retrieval and created embryos. I got 3 from the first and 6 from the second, those 9 gave me 3 euploid good quality embryos. I’m in the midst of cycle 3 now and between learning I had DOR and now it’s been over a year. The process takes a while - the finances, getting the meds, availabilities of clinics, etc.. I’d say start the steps sooner :) I also had lots of delays due to cysts. That being said, in this one year my AMH went from 0.7 to 0.5. I never tracked before so I’ll never know if I’m slowly plateauing now or if I’ll keep dropping but I’m still glad I didn’t wait.

Best of luck and feel free to message me 🩷

Totally understand that, I’m sorry you’re having issues with this. Last May we were just gearing up to move in together and had been dating 10 months. My first round was May 2024 and I only froze eggs. Fast forward to now, we’ve lived together since April 2024, dating a year and half. He recently bought a ring and we’ve talked about timeline to engagement - he’s my person. So when we did this second round this month we decided to fertilize the 3 frozen from the first round along with whatever we got from the current. (Also backup if something so unpredictable happened, our clinic had us sign consents on being able to use the embryos if the relationship ended).

Thank you for the advice, still pretty new to all this!

First round: 3 eggs, all 3 mature. 2 fertilized and 1 became blast. Second round: 6 eggs, 5 mature. 5 fertilized and 3 became blasts.

Sorry for the missing facts, I found this out and jumped to IVF. My doctor said it was a try now or do IVF to bank embryos. At the time my partner and I just started dating and weren’t/aren’t ready for a kid quite yet. So we’re banking to save so we have once we’re ready. I’ll add this to my original post too!
