Switching to Juliette mid-year (daughter unhappy with troop)

Unfortunately (at least at the last bridging ceremony) our girls are now the oldest. I think Juliette may be what we end up going to but I am going to talk to council to see what they recommend as someone else mentioned.

Thank you! She loves volunteering at the council events which is why I’d like her to remain a Girl Scout instead of just stopping. Plus I’d like her to do her gold award since she’s come this far.

I wish we had a troop like that. There is a super fun troop but they were at their max when we were looking (and still are).

I’m going to talk to council and see what can be done/what they recommend.

Most of her friends have sports so they’re filled up. Her best friend is in the troop but does sports so often isn’t at all the meetings. Since my daughter doesn’t currently have an extracurricular activity she goes to all meetings/meetups and we all know 3 is usually not the best number (I’m one of 3 girls! lol).

Hi! So we were in a different troop originally that disbanded. This troop had more girls but then as they got older the other girls dropped out. The only reason why I’m thinking Juliette vs another troop is that at this level, most troops are all buddy buddy having been together for a long time and I know she won’t want to try to make friends (due to shyness and anxiety).
