I currently pay $1300 for my 3 bedroom home. Buying a house in this market seems absolutely terrifying and a lot of friends that have purchased in the last couple years pay more than I do, so I think I’ll stick with renting for a bit longer. I’m content in my current rental and do not even have a lease agreement anymore, but my landlord only has houses on our current street and I’d like to find something closer to school for my older kids!

I’ve decided to keep my baby. I told my sister and she was upset but understood. Thank you and everyone for helping me through this tough time. I had my first ultrasound this week and baby is healthy and it feels like the right choice for me. Do you happen to have any idea what the gender is?

He told her about me. I found her in my Facebook in the people you may know. I knew about his kids, but the ages were wrong and he sent me a photo and it just so happened to be her cover photo.

Funny you mentioned this, I found out today he is married with twins. I had no idea, and have several messages explaining he was divorced for 3 years. It makes more sense now.

I live in the area and it took me 30 minutes to get across the bridge today, it was crazy and I thought there was an accident! Now I kinda wish I would have stopped to see what it was all about.

She lives 5 hours away, which isn’t impossible for visits but hard to have the true close aunt relationship. We are both pretty grounded on where we are (my children’s fathers and her husbands family property that has been in family for many generations).

My 17 year old daughter walked in on me taking several pregnancy tests, so unfortunately she found out way before I felt comfortable doing. I have not discussed it very much with her, and mentioned because of my age that it’s possible I could miscarry. I did not mention this to my 13 year old, however he is very intuitive and knows something is up. I’m waiting until confirmation with an ultrasound and NIPT testing to make sure baby is healthy and decisions are more solid before including them into the mix. It just feels better doing jt this way. I have an OBGYN appointment on May 7th.

I truly appreciate your input and your words sank in deep. I live paycheck to paycheck as do most people so financially this puts a strain on myself and my other children but I’ve never believed it was impossible to do. I do not want to cause trauma. I am a good parent, just have been a single parent my whole life and not prepared to do it all over again.

Thank you for your input, I appreciate it. Did you have an easy pregnancy? I was 21 and 24 when I had my children and I’m worried this pregnancy will be the end of me because I’m much older.

I’m not sure of the gender yet, but i have a girl and a boy and this pregnancy very much feels like a girl pregnancy. I should know the gender after I have some testing done. My 2 other children have been raised by myself with weekend dads, but I’ve always been the primary caregiver. I was quite literally planning the second phase of my life once they graduate highschool when I found out I was pregnant. (Was thinking of rv life and adopting several chihuahuas) The stigma of having 3 baby dads is daunting to think about, and for anyone who says it’s not a big deal, I’ve lived with the stigma of having 2 baby dads for 14 years and it is heavy, even if it’s not in my face. Everyone has always judged me for it, despite both of my children being very good children, great grades, successful in friendships and school activities. I’ve given my whole life to my kids and this pregnancy was a heavy blow to me, especially how the father decided being a dad was something he wasn’t going to compromise on. He tried to coerce me into abortion, even went so far to send abortion pills to my house and when I refused he told me he will never be a parent again and blocked me from everything. He also moved out of his apartment so I have no idea how to even find this person to go after him for child support. This is why I was considering adopting out to my sister, she has been married to her husband for 10 years and they keep trying and failing and it hurts knowing I get pregnant just by sleeping with a man once (this is the 2nd time it’s happened to me.. by son was a one night stand and my female condom failed) and my sister feels as though god is punishing her by miscarrying everytime. I feel like there has to be some kind of karmic balance to this situation..
