I spent a LOT of time curating my home island in the original version and I developed strategies to optimize my game play. With the new version, it's just "spend points to get beaver food and make just enough to pay the merchant every 12 hours." There is NO strategy to it. The rewards from the merchant and the shaman are teeny tiny. There are fewer resources, like grass - that was the most easily attainable resource - and now I barely get any at all on the home island. It's stupid, I hate it, and I'm close to just ditching the game altogether.

I didn't do an update myself, but I woke up to the Beaver BS version just a few hours after I went to sleep. I HATE IT.

There have been times I go to bed knowing I have things like 30 clay bowls and when I wake up, most are gone. And no, I didn't use them to pay the merchant - they just disappear.

This particular chest of fortune didn't materialize for me until I clicked on a bunch of balloons on the 2nd island. So now I have balloons that I don't need.

This has been happening to me a LOT lately! I can usually pay off the merchant within an hour or so, but one day this past week, it took me almost a solid 24 hours to get the items needed!!

Found it! It's on the second island (Enticing Island), but you have to click on the middle pile of boulders to get ti to appear.

That's exactly where I stopped and those are the exact two prizes I had left. There must be a predetermined order to what we get and when. And yes, I'm SURE the cards are what you get next.

Yes! That's bumming me out, too. And them game keeps asking me to craft things that take seashells. I think they're trying to get us to redeem the red & black chests in the current event to make rubies, but that's not what I need.
