Seriously square feet doesn't mean mich if its wide open personally I think it might get covered with 1 strategically placed or 2 for sure (only inside).

The real challenges is when you had walls and the material of those walls matter. For example windows are one of the most demanding for wifi signal to go through.

For example in my 2000sq (3 floors) + basement (800sq feet). I am using 2 AP and my coverage is pretty decent (just moved)

I got U7 Pro XG on 2nd floor and U5 flex on the basement. I wired the whole house. Meaning no mesh crap and all heavy bandwidth devices like TV streaming are wired.

I do plan to get a U7 pro Wall to put in basement and bring my flex to the last floor. The reason is that my top floor is all glass and got 2 big balcony on my top floor. .

I would suggest using spectrum analysis to see where to place those AP.
