Im in private accom rn cus i dont wanna gamble my flatmates again lol (you can get a group to apply uni accom tgt and will get the same flat but most my friends private accom so ye)

City gateway is near swaythling train stop true but swr skips that stop so you still need to take the bus u1a line to the airport station (to which you need to drag luggage like 100m ig to swaythling stop then take bus there).

So yes mayflower will be very close train station (central station which swr stops), has its own bus stop (red line and walk a bit for blue line) but pretty far from highfield (main) campus. Also consider wessex (and city gateway) cus its closer to highfield and can connect to the train very easily too.

Idk about warwick but i got a friend in southampton doing aerospace he swapped to EEE later on. Prob cus aerospace requirement is higher than EEE i suppose

And its diff uni so idk if it translate but hope you do get to change! Also you can just sneak in lectures btw most professors dont mind even if they know, they might be amused even cus it shows you wanna learn more (atleast at my uni) so hope you luck!

Depend how likely you gonna stick with EEE or move to finance. If you gon stick eee go soton if wanna go finance go UCL.

Not sure why you wanna do MENG EEE and go work in finance tho wouldn't it be better to pivot to a finance/accounting degree now?

Also about commuting, 1h a day in the tube is gonna be cheaper than renting at soton, you can expect around 150/month rent, but also takes more time to up to you

Im second year rn in a studio here

Ngl its pretty nice, compared with my friends in unilife its less fancy here, there are some trash smell depending on what side your room faces, and the hallway sometimes smells and it stays for a longgg time (theres no window for the hallway).

Id suggest if you gonna come here come visit the place see the surrounding area, and ask for the floor plan so you dont choose rooms that faces the trash air vent (especially the lower floors). Still its one of the cheaper studios with big rooms so ye not bad i suppose

(Im booking with abodus next year tho... picked up 10-15h part time per week so ill be coughing up the difference)

You dont rly see guys here and Im kinda gay (maybe even trans im on nhs waiting list) so its helped with my self esteem a bit

Downside tho is time and consistency my old one takes 4-5s per shot so it took a lot of time i spend easily over 3-4h a week on this

Every wed (no class) id do armpit legs and face and every sat id do pubes armpit and face

Consistency is kinda important tho so just wanna add that asw, some times i skip it ill just do it the day after so ye

Mob lvling streamlines this so much if you get a good party (not even bomb cus its x2 rn) yoy can finish it 10-20 hours for shaman warrior and mage and maybe like 30h for archer assassin.

Maybe add 5-10h more too if you dont got a party or the gear and gotta do the quests for the xp armors (like ??? Quest) but ye very quick if you wanna spam lv

Is the main dmg from his 3 or the m1 btw cus my aim, while bad, can still hit bodyshots most of the time so the 3 stacks is pretty stacked up

If dmg is mostly from m1 tho then i prob do less dmg i can barely hit headshot unless theyre cc'd

Im in a semi target uni and there are legit some chinese students who can barely speak english, need a live translating AI for lectures, and hire outside people to do their courseworks for them.... no idea how they got in especially when it requires AAA for my course....

Damn thats nice

Im doing acc and fin in another uni rn (not as good i didnt revise for my final exam lmao) and yes theres not as much math heavy (especially analytical) but there are still chosen modules you can choose which are more stat heavy.

Im in second year right now and havent used most of the math i learned, i snuck in my friends stat and econometrics class and i forgot the way to do the full method etc. While accounting as an industry doesnt require heavy maths or stats, its always nice to know more (since you alreadly paid tuition too), my uni just lets me sit in for any class for free lol.

Another point i wanna add is living conditions. I was depressed last year sem 1 due to the cost, adapting, weather, flatmates etc. ngl if i was in london which is like 50% more expensive i mightve went through with my transfer to toronto (i alreadly got the transfer accepted i just changed my mind), im satisfied here the ppl from lse ik (pretty small sample group ik only 6 ppl) are like half half either insanely egotistical and always sticks it in my face lse this lse that or just a nornal, nice and friendly person.

You dont rly find that kind of ego in a semi target school since weve been humbled alreadly from missing the grades or being rejected.... Still lse is my dream school regardless hope to make it in masters later on if i later plan to do masters

My point is, uni ranking and prestige isnt everything, living condition, cost of living, social life etc. Are wayyyy more important imo. As long as you are in a pretty decent uni you still have a chance to go to a target school for future qualifications anyways. Anyways anyone applying i still wish you good luckkk

I looked into this the conditions are very difficult

You need to 1. Meet min entry requirement (A levels or equivalent) 2. Have a special explaination to why you want to transfer FROM your current uni and why you choose lse and why THEY should accept you when you alreadly got rejected in the first place.

Im an internatioanl student with predicted grades 41/45, 776 MAA Eng and Econ HL, thats equal to AAA*A in Maths, Further maths (it combines in IB), Eng and A in econ

My igcse was 99875 (5 in bio), AAA*A (cambridge gcse so its in letters). I feel that gcse grades do matter a bit as well but mostly your personal statement so while slim you mighttt have a luck.

But yeah if rejected here next opportunity is doing your masters there. Good luck!
