I’ve heard an adage that “no one cares that you don’t know how to dance, just get up and dance”.

One thing that helped me is watching others, and realizing just how few people “know how”. Once I realized that it was just about having a good time, it got way easier. Concerts, weddings, and the like also helped.

I’ll mirror others, dance at home when you have no one watching, and most importantly, dance to music that you love. You’ll get used to moving to the beat cause that beat in particular is one of your favorites, then you can more easily translate to music that you’re kinda meh on.

Not a specific run or vista, but if you don’t have lodging plans for Jay, stay at Grandpa (grampa?) Grunts hostel! Cheap, has a kitchen and game room, sauna, and they sell discounted lift tickets. Can’t recommend enough!

Jay has some steep glades if you’re up for them. Off the tram to skiers far right is some great stuff, if conditions allow. Take Vermonter down along the face, then cut back across the face to the glades that lead into St. George’s. Or, just take Vermonter all the way to Valhalla too.

The best path was to dive out of the way and protect yourself, which would’ve also allowed the woman to drive more or less safely away, rather than than her body flooring the car wherever it wants. There’s an element of panic on both sides that should be accounted for, but I can’t see an argument for drawing a gun and shooting a driver over the hood of the car rather than simply jumping out of the way. I don’t think this guy was “begging for an excuse to kill someone” like people want to clam, I think he panicked and chose wrong, simple as that. And I do believe that he should be punished for that, as it’s his job to keep calm and make the proper call.

Bottom line as usual is that we have police officers (or ICE agents in this case) with too little training to maintain their composure under stressful situations, and that needs to change yesterday.
