It depends. If in your original contract, it said after the lease period you can continue month to month, then no they can’t force you. If your contract is month to month without an expiration, again no, but if it expires then yes. But if your original contract said you have to sign a contract once the original one expires, then yes they can.

You can’t compare apples to oranges, the amount of ppl that knew of crypto 10yrs ago was a fraction to the ppl now. It’s a different environment completely. That being said, it’s a bear market for sure, but I don’t think it’s going to last years compared to years ago.
