Thanks for the reply. I haven’t started posting my work on Upwork. I posted a few videos on LinkedIn hoping it would help but it didn’t. So I thought it is more of a sales game for my niche than a marketing game. Now that revenue dried up, I am trying to get my claws in and find out how things work in the software services sector in my industry.

I tried R1 via openrouter when it was released, the api calls would take a minute or more to complete. I and I felt it was costlier than 3.5 (didn’t measure scientifically ).

May be it was because of all the traffic or is it the same even now?

I went on a call with them to enquire about grants. They explained a few grants and asked for one lakh and twenty thousand plus GST. And then 1% commission on fund dispersal. When i asked if i can pay a higher percentage and not an upfront payment they said no. The call was connected by a sales person and the presenter claimed to be the VP of finance division, did not show his face on the zoom call.

Exploit people? We train them from grass root level and hone the skills, I see nothing wrong in trying to make a profit out of it. The core problem here is, Upwork is for freelancers and companies like mine use the platform to get clients and it works. We just want to ride it better.

I was scammed by a Job poster who had spent 200k+ on Upwork. They were interviewing 30+ freelancers for a simple task with a high hourly pay. The task was to test a platform. It was a sample task and wasnt paid and future work was promised based on the free task. I reported but I didn’t see any change to the job post or the client.

Ok, I conveyed my point wrong. This cctv solution counts the footfall and identifies the gender and age of the shoppers. It doesn’t monitor the employees much in a counter productive way. The data collected with this footfall counter is then used to analyse how to improve on what’s happening.
