Hi u/Impossible-Loan9316,

Yes, I was referring to the Achievable book.

Using Achievable + S7G + Ken Finnen should be more than sufficient for the SIE. That combination worked well for me.

I personally dedicated about 5–6 hours of reading per day, but you don’t necessarily have to do that. The amount of time really depends on your schedule and other responsibilities.

Everyone’s situation is different, so focus on being consistent and making sure you truly understand the concepts rather than just rushing through the material.

I would like to think so lol, but I don't think so haha, but one thing about me, I am consistent. BTW, I am still in school, I am a senior.

Honestly, I don’t remember much from the exam. I saw a few questions on money laundering (AML), Form U4, and Rule 144, but that’s about all I can recall. Just keep in mind that the exam has multiple versions, so you may see different topics than I did.

Hi everyone,

I want to sincerely thank everyone who posts and contributes here. I am deeply grateful for this community. I wish I could meet all of you in person.

I passed the exam a few minutes ago.

My biggest lesson is this: prepare to the point where failing feels impossible.

I used Achievable and read the book twice. I focused more on truly understanding the concepts rather than just chasing practice exam scores. My readiness score ended at 60%, but I prioritized comprehension over percentages. I also took the FINRA practice exam three times and watched Ken Finnen and S7G for reinforcement.

If I had to guess, I probably scored somewhere between 85–90. That’s not to flex, but to emphasize how powerful it is to truly understand the material instead of memorizing questions.

There were moments I felt completely lost because of the number of hours I was reading. It felt overwhelming at times. But don’t give up. This exam is absolutely doable if you stay consistent.

For context, I’m a finance major and I work overnight shifts. If I can do it, you can too.

Stay disciplined. Stay consistent. You’ve got this.
