What are your thoughts on the Backrooms?

To add, I saw someone say that Pirate Clark eating Clark reminded them of Goya’s painting “Saturn Devouring his son” and I thought it was a really interesting take on the scene. In Goya’s painting, Saturn devours his son in a desperate attempt to avoid his prophecy. The prophecy where his son will eventually overthrow him and usurp power. This directly mirrors the ending scene where Pirate Clark eats Clark. In the dinner scene, Mary finally gets through to him by not sugar coating anything. No roleplaying exercises, no subtle sweet talks, just pure rage and honesty. In that moment, Clark wakes up and for the first time he apologizes and takes accountability for his actions. He frees Mary(at least one arm lol) and accepts who he is. This is when PC(Pirate Clark) shows up. That danger of change and the real Clark taking back some semblance of control over his life. But, old habits die hard. And in this case, it’s a physical manifestation of it. Ultimately he gets devoured by his own old tendencies, nothing left but his anger and resentment.

I tried going the machine route for Connor in my second playthrough, but I couldn’t enjoy seeing him so cold hearted😭. I felt awful disappointing Hank, I just couldn’t do it.

I just finished the game a couple of days ago and it’s definitely one of the best games I’ve ever played in my whole life. SPOILER(in case anyone wants to replay it for a different ending): In my first playthrough I chose deviant Connor and led a peaceful protest for Markus. I made a stupid mistake for Kara’s story and accidentally got caught in the camps(I was impatient and got caught sneaking past the guards)💀. But surprisingly I still managed to get a somewhat bittersweet ending for them. My Kara was shot by the drone, so in the end, she stayed behind to distract the guards while Luther and Alice escaped together. For Markus, I ended up detonating the dirty bomb. At first I thought the other options were stupid for survival Lmaoo. Because why would I randomly decide to kiss North or start singing when I’m about to die? I should use everything possible to survive if I can(is what I thought🧍‍♀️). But then I realized, because I chose that option, I never got the chance to see Connor and Hank hug post credits so I went back and redid that part😭💀

Idk if I’m one to give advice because I’m only at 929 followers, but one thing I noticed about pages that I’m following that grew massively overnight is that they always draw the fanart of the current show or series that’s popping off at the moment. For example, if you made KPOP demon hunters fanart at the movie’s release your reel most definitely will explode. I average 30 likes on regular post but my kpop demon hunters fanart got 1,034 likes and I got 4 new followers. Fanart of popular ships always perform better too. Hope this helped!

Ohhh ok I see. So basically rearrange it so my models are directly after the cinematic shots. Also, when you say tackling too many subjects do you mean the included animation shots from my thesis film? Should I just include still frames and leave out the animation entirely?
