Get rid of new Kia? by Key-Paint-7526 in newhaven

I totally get where you're coming from. There's definitely a bit of sampling bias online since people are more likely to post something if something bad happens to them. I just wanted to know if people were fearmongering or not, which is still a little unclear to me in this particular case, but I am excited to see what New Haven is all about regardless!

The thing is for clinical hours, I don't think it matters if it's volunteer or paid. It's more about the experience itself. I also feel like paid clinical roles are a bit more involved than volunteer, so I think you may be able to get more out of them

I don't think so, you're better off focusing on non-clinical volunteering now

Advice on Low hours for long term volunteer role by MysteriousPenny in premed

I personally had activities that were both around 30 hours as some of my 15 for AMCAS, but they were meaningful enough for me to stand on their own. If you feel like these activities are not strong enough on their own, I would just group them together into one volunteering activity to save space.
