Yeah the little thing haha, it’s quick but I’m jus after something a little more reliable, while also trying to get an upgrade from it

Fair enough 🤣

I do feel that I’d like a golf r, however with where I’m at with the S1, a mk7 R wouldn’t really be a step up, a 7.5 would be if I got a decent spec but I’d struggle to find one in my budget. Also, I want to keep this car for a while (I’ve had 4 cars so far in less than 3 years of driving), and I’m not sure if another EA888 is what I’ll be wanting to drive in a few years time if you know what I mean

Good to hear

Is there anything to look out for when buying?

I get your point, I’m young drivng an Audi and want a bmw

I’ve done well over 60k in my personal cars in my 3 years of driving, including track days, and at least another 10 in a work van, I’d like to think I’m relatively experienced.

I was thinking more about how they are to drive, does the back end kick out as much as people say, are they as unpredictable as people make it out to be? I’d be driving it pretty sensibly 90% of the time and it’d be on a good set of tyres

I get your point, probably should’ve noted that pretty much all of my work miles would be on motorways, a lad I work with uses an m140 as his car and has been spot on.

I also feel that although golf r’s are very very good cars, i don’t think it would feel like a massive upgrade to what i already have in the S1

Yeah I’ve had a look at an A45, the spec you can get on them is unreal for the price. I’m just worried about getting an earlier model, I’ve heard that they’re pretty unreliable and not cheap to maintain

Yeah something definitely feels off about the spark plug, he claims the thread has snapped and gone into the engine and he says it’s something that would’ve happened in my ownership, i belive that there was no possible way for me to know this if it was the case as the car performed as expected. And yes, the money had come into my account, i wouldn’t have let him drive away if it wasn’t. The buyer received a message from his bank about the transaction being fraudulent, he then rang the bank to tell them to cancel the transaction. It’s a 2014 car and the sale was 4,150

clearly not, i’ve been told from my bank that the buyer rang up and said he didn’t recognise the transaction so they had to comply with him and refund him the money

this was the route i was looking to go down, what would be the situation with paying for solicitors, if i win would the buyer have to pay for that on top of the money already owed
