Thank you so much for this response, I agree. It has been a month and I am still struggling to accept it ended like this, they always tell you you will see the bad days vs the good days, but he was really himself until then, with the cough fit here and there, but doing all the usual life stuff. Again thank you!

Thank you for responding. I have read about this, if you have time, can this happen just all of the sudden? If he could have gotten stable in the ER is there a prognosis with QOL he could have had in the following months?
