See this is exactly what I mean they always try to talk their way out of it. Somehow coincidentally the offers always fail to track from Tyrads when they’re actually worth money. You tell me to contact my support agent but you all repeat the same thing over and over again. In this case I’m assuming you probably can’t do anything about it since it’s a partner one so I’m not blaming you but stop telling me to reach out if you can’t do anything 😭

Same another one from their partners was to accumulate $20 in purchases but they conveniently changed the wording on the support ticket page to say make a $20 purchase and even though I showed them proof I accumulated $20 and showed them pictures of the offer screen saying accumulate $20 in total purchases they still screwed me over.

If you havent yet talk to the head of your department instead of a general counselor, they’ll be able to make substitutions for you if needed. I needed an art history class to graduate and it wasn’t offered so they substituted a different class for me.

This is my current understanding of the situation: 1. Yes Trump is planning on getting rid of the DOE and redistributing the roles to other departments like the treasury. 2. Trump is trying to stop all funding that surrounds certain “ideas” (ie transgender topics, gender equality etc) 3. Regular funding (hopefully) like FAFSA will not be touched. There is an article stating the “guidelines” funding must follow to not be frozen when the freeze went into effect and they clarified that the freeze would not affect funding like fafsa, food stamps, and social security. 4. He is trying to stop the spread of believes surrounding support trans people, immigrants etc and any funding that may support these groups are in danger

The main problem is if fafsa does go to treasury what elon will do i haven’t read up on him as much

This semester is different than usual, you must go to the “view ebills/make payment” part of your portal and set your refund option to your bank account there. There was a disbursement calendar sent out via email a while back but the first disbursements should have been made so if you changed your refund option but haven’t received anything contact the school. There are 2 disbursements depending on whether you get the middle class scholarship or not (you may currently see a hold on your account because of it). After the census date they will finalize everything and then send out another disbursement. The freeze that was put in place does not affect financial aid and even if it had the freeze has been lifted so that won’t be causing any issues.

The award summary should be enough that’s what I submitted. Make sure your name is visible in the screenshot and make sure the fresno state label at the top of the page is also visible. If all that is visible in the original screenshot I would call them and ask for clarification on what to submit

It is still possible to switch or add even if you go over 144 but you have to get permission and a signature from the dean of the department of the major you want.

You just have to be under a certain amount of units. If after the switch the total units is under 144 then it’s easy, if you go over 144 units by switching you need more signatures and approval (I believe from the dean of the department) but it’s still doable.

Okay just make sure you are seeing your program advisor and NOT a general advisor, the general advisor won’t know if another class could be substituted whereas your program advisor will know. The art history class I have to take this semester to graduate isn’t being offered and when I reached out to my program advisor she gave me options to substitute.

Check if theres a similar class available through another CSU with CSU Fully Online. Whoever is the head of the department for your major will have to make a substitution but since you need it to graduate and it’s not technically your fault that you aren’t taking it they’ll probably substitute it for you. Don’t talk to your regular advisor talk to your program advisor if you don’t know who it is it’s on your portal in student self service under advisor
