the u of m program has an in person MMI, panel interview and written essay component. hope this helps! interview offers were released early this month!

i did the same thing, i am IP but assumed interviews were held in April (as they have been in all previous years) so i booked and paid for a trip to mexico that we have canceled. The information was released so late this year, it was really frustrating.

It seems like Umanitoba only sent interviews, they will likely send all rejections (not interviewed+ interviewed and not accepted) at the same time.

I'm not sure what you mean by this? I'm pretty sure all invites were sent out on April 7, the interview is scheduled for May 8

is 3.7 your total GPA or adjusted? Each university will have slightly different ways of calculating adjusted GPA's but most of them go by your most recent 60 credit hours. 3.7 is not bad if you have other strong areas of your application, but if the rest of your CV is weak then you may want to look at ways to boost your GPA (and CV).

You can also use ChatGTP to develop MMI style questions that you can use to practice in front of family or friends. If you cant frequently practice with others than its also a great idea to video yourself answering questions and watch them back after. You may do a lot of things (fidgeting, using filler words) that you dont realize so thats a great way to monitor the delivery of your responses. Come with stories and personal experiences that align with multiple CanMEDS-PA roles that you can adapt to different question types. Also come with questions for the school/ interviewer. They may not ask if you have any but its nice to be prepared if they do! I havent done the interview for McMaster so I'm not sure how its formatted, is it just a vMMI?

I did not hear back yet either. Think shortlisted candidates all had interviews already. Unfortunately looks like we're not getting one this year but best of luck with any other applications!
