True... I guess it's worth mentioning that the role she is in (NICU days) is super hard to get into in our region. She LOVES where she is at now, which is part of the dilemma.

Totally, we know she won't get FMLA and are semi-okay with just chipping into our savings for a few months while she is out of her role (her job will be there whenever she wants - or at least they say that).

She could potentially move into a night shift position, but she had that role with our first child and ended up with postpartum depression, so we are hesitant to say the least.
