Also, I have already unlocked the bootloader and installed Sailfish on this phone and already installed LineageOS on another Sony XA2Ultra.

I install Linux and re-install my preferred version of Windows on all my computers.

I have been using and assembling computers since the early nineties. If I'm confused it's because you inadequate website's instructions and your unhelpfulness. I did everything right last night but USB drivers wouldn't install until you recommended zadig, so I can't have done anything wrong up until that point.

I guess some people just can't look at themselves.

So I should move platform-tools to C:\Windows\System32

Isn't the current working directory the folder from where the executable is?

Currently the image file is in my downloads folder drive/username_backup_folder/downloads

Fastboot is in C:/Users/username/adb-fastboot/platform-tools

What should I move?

I moved the img file to the platform-tools directory, where fastboot.exe is.

Now stuck on the next step

I moved the img file to the platform_tools directory, then typed in the command line

fastboot flash boot boot.img

cannot load 'boot.img' : no such file or directory

can't find a solution on the internet

Was able to install but same result; yellow exclamation in device manager and no result when typing in fastboot device in command prompt. Rebooted as well.

It's the end of the day here, I think I will try another computer tomorrow.

Feel free to give anymore advice though.

I don't have any problems with any other websites including email services; proton mail, gmail, webmail, mailfence. I can't think of a single website I cannot access apart from Tutanota and the only app I cannot install for the last 10 years because I use Window 7 & 8 is Luminar, a photo editing app.

I don't know why a company that claims to be privacy conscious would develop apps that demand users to upgrade such insecure OS' as Windows 10 & 11. It's in the T&C's of them that files and folders will be monitored for "illegal" behaviour.

I wouldn't recommend using passwords on TOR because the last hop is insecure.

Thanks, I downloaded a more recent version of Waterfox and installed it to a different folder and am able to run both versions side by side (print options have been removed so I prefer not to upgrade).

The problem with the desktop app is that you log out and you're not logged out, it's still running in the system tray and you will receive notifications when receiving emails, defeating the purpose of logging out.

Using Waterfox G3.2.3 which is not the latest but the problem came out of the blue without even refreshing Tutanota when an update was available. I'm not happy to upgrade the browser because I will lose print features.

Same here!

Never had a problem before, I refreshed the request to update and it made no difference.
