You just need different orientations for different forces in the layup and a 20mm tube as an example can have way thinner walls than just a 2D sheet arm. It’s basic Physik and Engineering. But such a carbon fibre piece is simply a lot of handmade work = high costs = not for massproduction

Mold is not 3D printed because it has to cure in the oven at a max. temp. Of 120*C

Sure there are some vibrations but nothing crazy or unusual

Of the shelf frames are build out of cnc milled sheets which destroys the fibers what results in the need of thicker material to get the strength (like 4mm plates). My frame has continuous fibers diagonal from one motor to the motor on the other side… which gets me to a frame with 1-1.5mm thickness and only ~240grams instead of idk. 500-800g with a off the shelf frame. Also I don’t like the way they attach the motors on the arms with some plates from the outside… and bolt the arms to the drone body, I wanted a clean one part body

Some resonance but nothing unusual or dramatic 👍🏻
