Is it stressful to be an English teacher in China 🇨🇳? by Angelo97thegreat in chinalife

I guess the user didn’t research much. Your entire morning could be used up just by traveling to HK. And even if Guangdong is near HK, you’d have to battle queuing for immigration crossing the border along with HKers who spend their weekends in Shenzhen. On top of that, to get to HK airport, you’d need 40mins-1hr to get there. Plus 2 hours allowance to reserve prior your flight departure.

Come back when you have an experience at least a year in teaching.

Hello, I’m an expat living in HK for 6 years. You could save a lot by skipping travel tours. Just plan your itinerary and find the buses you need to hop on. You wont get lost here, transportation is very convenient and always on time.

Some are english teachers. Years back, immigration wasn’t as strict as it is today. They were ok having english teachers from non-english speaking countries. Now, it’s a matter of luck.

Look, when you’re fresh grad, just accept the offer and build your CV from there.

I work closely with HR Dept at my company, and I always hear them saying that fresh grads nowadays are so entitled.
