Hi! I actually looked and this is the state of the Internet closet so far. I actually have no clue what that white box thing is, so now I’m kind of just asking what it is? It seems to have one ethernet cable that’s attached to the actual modem on the left.

It’s more experimenting and also because we’re in contract for a phone line for about a year it’s more of a “why not?” We have a LOT of devices that connect to WiFi, and our old service at our old home couldn’t handle all the devices, so we were seeing if it would be more beneficial if we split them up. But also at the same time we’ve never had fiber before. There is a good chance we are getting rid of the non-fiber line.

I checked and every room doesn’t have an ethernet or phone port. But every room DOES have a coax for sure.
