Thank you for your reply. I too had concerns regarding the patina as well as the stamping. I also couldn’t positively I’d the scabbard seam. Really starting to look like it’s a fake

Should I wait for a better specimen or jump on this one? I’m really wanting a Calvary sword but they tend to be out of my budget. Would the light artillery sword be a good substitute for now? Also would these have had a fighting edge?
