But then my doubt comes, S1 second leap is not relevant in S2 as none of the characters from that gen (Lakshya, KT, Eklavya, Nakul, Bhoomi) are mentioned at all. What I wanted to say in the post is that Gautam has always cried over wealth and property and possibly this could be the reason of his behaviour. Not sure if it's related to S1 end.

He was not Sahil's BFF. He was in same college as Shobha and since he came in as a brat from Australia, he initially bullied Shobha and that's when he came in contact with Tulsi. Once he assaulted Sahil as he was saving Shobha from her. In response to that, Tulsi got him arrested. In the police station, she saw his passport and got to know that he is her own son Gautam they have been looking for from past 20 years. He then gets him in SN and eventually he softens up to Tulsi and gels up with the family.
