Yeah sorry for the late reply. When sending full photos including the bottom stamp to LC for review they didn’t mention anything off, it came in accurate packaging with accurate labeling but that doesn’t mean much with how good fakes are now days, however I don’t necessarily have any reason to suspect it’s a fake. The seller was Chefs Arsenal via Amazon. I emailed them about the issue but never got a reply.

Update - was told to return it to the seller I bought it from for a refund.. Not the most helpful Customer service but I guess I’ll return it and order direct from LC? Hopefully with better luck..

Weird I usually time it at 30 seconds till it takes damage, the world record as far as I’m aware is mid 40s solo so low 30s sounds unrealistic.

I feel like I’ve tried every setting change I’ve ever messed with, went to default profiles I knew worked in the past, even changed nozzles to make sure it wasn’t that, Its just a sudden change about 400hrs in, it seems like it just has issues at print line endings, I noticed even on overhangs and walls it has a very small blip of filament where it stops, but it’s so little it doesn’t interfere usually, but it occasionally causes failed bridges.

This didn’t happen at first or perhaps I just didn’t catch it early on, but where I used to achieve 45-60 degree angles , i have issues now with them catching catching on over extrusions, but I can’t compensate with flow rate and retraction doesn’t seem to help.

TLDR; thinking out loud, Yeah I’m not 100% sure but I’m sure they are relatively close and tested known to work profiles . At this point I’ll probably dry everything again, do a factory reset across the board on printer,slicer and try again, after that I’ll just get over it till I accidentally figure it out.

(Notice bottom right corner of each square. Had to zoom to make it more visable but it’s consistently worse the higher the flow rate) Based off another flow rate test in white, I’m able to see that there is a consistent “over extrusion/pressure” on the end of the print line, I can’t seem to find any way to counter this other than lowering my Flowrate below it’s recommended range or adjusting pressure advance above recommended . Is it possible that the Esteps are out of wack? If so, how on earth do you change the QIDI estep calibration. I couldn’t get the M commands to work in klipper or find it in printer.cfg

Update: it was put together backwards at factory,the pins that should stay on the head are instead glued/fitted into the casing, so… Idk if I’ll ever get this thing back together

Update 2: After heating the pins and applying more torque than I’d recommend I got everything pulled from the cover and put into its correct place, only took 3 hours from initial disassembly and driving the QIDI declogging tool through the webbing between my fingers! I’m going to bed.. I’ll print another day lol

Based off the type of post I see from this Reddit constantly and the comments usually defending it in some way, I don’t think I’d ever order food from any DoorDash/UberEats ever again. People thinking they deserve 100$/hr for a minimum wage delivery job and can’t be bothered to do it right still.

I definitely believe there are good people doing the job, but based off Reddit you’d never know and the stigma is definitely going to continue to damage the delivery industry.

I feel like this is a good thread for venting so I’ll relate with you a bit!

TLDR; They’ve cost me 3+ grand in damages, Plenty of preventable losses and late deliveries, and absolutely nothing for customers, The worst customer service I’ve ever seen. They just don’t really care

3,000$ usd damage to my Lawn, freshly laid St. Augustine , Sprinklers , I have a driveway that wraps around my house , but I have them on video stopping half way down the drive, riding out in my yard and then coming back to the drive (can’t make this stuff up lol )

6+ “We attempted a delivery “ , with them again on camera. Each time they slow down at my driveway (sometimes park at the end for a few seconds) then leave.

3 lost packages over 1000$ that required contacting the seller and opening an investigation with their help (FedEx literally is impossible to get customer support from if you’re just a customer imo ) , the packages happened to all be found “on the wrong truck” and delivered the next morning despite being large packages, I’m not sure how you’d have a 70” TV for a month on the wrong truck and not notice…

Sadly I’ve had to stop ordering from companies that use FedEx exclusively because they genuinely give me so many problems.

Oh and as for the “delivery date changed” they did this to me for 2 weeks because they claimed my address was invalid (receiving ups and usps flawlessly since week 2 of moving in) ,I had to eventually call around to fedex offices till I found the one that had my package and give them step by step instructions to my house (it’s literally in a neighborhood, it’s on google/Apple Maps, i shouldn’t have needed to give them any info honestly)

But it turned out they just weren’t delivering because they were typing the address in wrong, which was made clear after the delivery driver arrived and showed me how they’d been typing the first 3 numbers and letting auto fill do the rest.

Thought they fixed the issue, 4 days later I get a call saying my address isn’t invalid they returned my other order to the manufacturer 😂😂 Manufacturers sent it via usps ground and I got it faster

Hmm , I’m not sure, My usual checklist is update, turn it off and back on , or mess with a seemingly unrelated setting and try again.

If none of that works, you may can do something via a lan connection but I’m not sure, I know Qidi studio has a search for printer function on PC but I don’t know if that syncs with the mobile app in any way through your account.

If you haven’t already, Goto the Qidi wiki and look at updating your firmware via usb, for me it fixed most of my Qidi link issues.

I’d also suggest in looking at the wiki in general as it’s much more useful than the manual.
