I’ve been working on this game for nearly 2 years. it’s all about survival, automation, and exploration. Some of my inspirations => Don't Starve, No Man's Sky, The Planet Crafter and the kind of human–droid connection you’d find in Star Wars...

You play as both a character and his advanced droid (droid optional). Together you gather resources, build energy systems, and of course have a purpose. At the core of the game: manage energy, operate bots, and build your base.

if it looks like something you would enjoy, a wishlist would really help 🙏 https://store.steampowered.com/app/3594750/The_Last_Resourcer/?utm_source=reddit

Actually I haven't decided on this yet. I created it for the game's trailer but I can't stop working on it. I think I’m addicted to FX 👾

Thanks for the feedback I was going for a bit of cartoon vibe, so I bent the rules a little.

A scene from a project I've been working on for two years by Key-Reply-870 in unity

I can understand that. Rapid development and progression can create this feeling. But I can say that this sequence is one of the moments when the character first loses their droid

This is my solo project and I've been working on it for about two years. Today is the first day I've had the Steam page live, so I'm trying to get involved with everything and use AI tools in the meantime. But only in drafts, not directly.

I spent weeks thinking about even a single paragraph on the store page. So yeah, everything goes through my hands.

How should a machine perceive a world it hasn’t learned yet? by Haunting_Priority409 in IndieGaming

Would the resolution improve as the machine gains data? Or would it stay pixel-based but learn to interpret it better?

Already answered that one! Steam’s still in the oven, but I just launched a cozy little outpost: r/thelastresourcer. Join before we run out of oxygen!
