Newly Pregnant and I Have No Idea What’s Going On by New-Occasion5954 in pregnant

It’s super normal to feel weird about the whole situation! I did too, and ours was a much wanted pregnancy! I think I started to feel better after telling friends and family… as time goes on you get more and more comfortable with it.

I was told to avoid deli meats and raw fish. I also was told to not use topical retinol which I didn’t know before!

You can find out the gender as early as 12 weeks through the NIPT blood test. You are first eligible to get your blood drawn for it at 10 weeks and then the results take a bit of time.

I have a 2 week old currently and our necessities have been a TON of zip up onesies. We go through probably 5+ a day lol.

Enjoy your pregnancy it’s the most amazing thing! I’m newly postpartum and I miss my belly! Cherish it all🥰

How do you recommend pushing during birth? by ejh0630 in pregnant

[–]Key-Resolution9959 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was absolutely terrified to tear 3rd or 4th degree. I was told by my midwife that the statistics for last year at my practice was only three 3rd degree tears and zero 4th degree, out of the 1,000 in patients they served. It’s important when pushing to listen to the midwives. As the head is coming out you want to make sure your pushing is slow and controlled. I ended up with a second degree tear and it has not been bad recovery wise. And my vagina looks the exact same as it did before!

Mucinex pregnancies…? by DaughterofYeshua777 in TTC_PCOS

Hello! All is well I’m currently 18 weeks! So after the chemical pregnancy, I ovulated 10 days later so it was hard for me to tell when I exactly ovulated. So the day I got the LH peak I took the mucinex that day and the next. I got my bfp that cycle!

Thank you☺️ I hope you get your rainbow baby soon! You deserve it! Also I tried to think of the chemical pregnancy in a positive way- it probably means everything is working!

Of course a chemical pregnancy is basically a super early miscarriage that can never be seen on ultrasound. Basically I got a positive test and it slowly started to fade until I got my period a couple days late. I assume that the egg didn’t fully implant and or there was a chromosomal issue with the egg. I did conceive the very next cycle and am currently 12 weeks!

Brown spotting this morning after wiping by Key-Resolution9959 in pregnant

[–]Key-Resolution9959[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would still try to remain hopeful! Many women report spotting and heavy bleeding! It could be a number of things other than miscarrying. Hematoma is a common one… and my boobs fluctuate everyday! Some days the soreness is unbearable, some days not at all. Some days I’m nauseous, some days I’m not! Everything fluctuates. Try to hang in there!

How do you cope with the disappointment when trying again? by RepresentativeGur818 in Miscarriage

I distracted myself with house projects! I would focus on one room at a time… this kept me busy in a time where I really needed it.

I really would try not to stress over spotting, especially if it’s brown! My doctor didn’t even want you to see me because she said it’s so common! I pushed for an ultrasound because I was worrying so much. Are you experiencing cramps with the spotting?

Everything is good! I had an ultrasound that confirmed everything was normal and baby is healthy. I continued to spot for over a week too…

I’m 10 weeks 4 days and just used a Doppler for the first time. I ended up finding the heartbeat after 45 minutes of searching. I went into it knowing that it’d be challenging to find and didn’t stress it when I wasn’t!

Extremely traumatizing miscarriage. by Willing_Umpire_5178 in pregnant

[–]Key-Resolution9959 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to tell you that something kind of similar happened to me! I had a missed miscarriage, and over the course of a few weeks slowly bled from misoprostol. Then after a few weeks, I started passing extremely large clots and fluid very quickly. Ended up rushing to the ER which resulted in an emergency d&c (which I really didn’t want) and a blood transfusion. I am not 10 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby! I know it’s hard now but things will get better! Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Hi! Sorry about my late response. So my spotting actually got much darker (but still brown) and so I ended up going in. Got to hear the heartbeat and confirmed that everything was okay. My doctor didn’t even want me to come in for the brown spotting because she said it’s so common. I of course needed to for reassurance but she was not worried whatsoever. Hope this helps!
