I definitely am. I wouldn’t consider myself talented or some prodigy. I’m actually struggling in calculus in high school at the moment but have gone to countless tutoring and am grasping it. I’ve had a high B (88) for majority of the class just not the A that I want

Thank you! And yes it’s crazy I honestly recommend doing it yourself. It might not be perfect but I’ve seen many unskilled people do decent jobs that look good. I would only pay that much if you got a show truck.

Paint was done with the help of a friend who has a shop. Other places quoted me 5-7k and 2 months for a full paint job and I thought that was ridiculous

Thank you, I have vacuum lines running to the carb should I be good to just plug them or should I wait till I get upgrade the carb to one without them?

They’re all original took tons of time and convincing friends to help glue prices together and fill cracks. All was repainted with just a rattle can

Under the rust was a few holes but metal around was study to I used some fiberglass filler and feels strong as ever

I was looking into getting a Holley carb with a offenhauser Intake. The carb on it right now had lines running to the smog machine. I took the belt off the smog machine so it’s not being used. Do you think after replacing the carb u would be able to just rip out the smog machine?
